Founder and president of International Real Aikido Federation

Igor Petrović, born on 5/08/1984, graduated coach of physical preparation of athletes – recreation, graduated coach of real aikiodo and professional specialist coach in sports. Module – special physical education of special population groups, defended a specialist paper entitled “Application of real aikido in the training of the Army of the Republic of Serbia” with a grade of 10.

He has been practicing real aikido since 1994. Due to his efforts and fast progress, he became the youngest member of the first team under the leadership of Ljubomir Vračarević. The first assistant to the founder of real aikido, Ljubomir Vračarević-black belt 10.DAN-SOKE. He helped and led seminars around the world together with the master Ljubomir Vračarević and after his death he continued to spread real aikido in the region and the world. He was the chairman of the board of the Serbian Real Aikido Association and one of the members of the licensing commission.

          He has participated and led over 280 seminars in Macedonia, Republika Srpska, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Switzerland, America, Spain, Estonia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Oremburg, Orsk, Ekanterinburg, Gai, Belgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Norilsk, Samara, Bugulma, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Surgut …). from american hall of fame of martial arts he gets his black belt 3. DAN from central comitee. Together with master Ljubomir Vračarević, he led the training of President Putin’s bodyguards in Moscow. He also successfully led the training of special units of the Serbian Army and special units of Russia.

He received a black belt DAN 4 from Jiu Jutsu from master Ljubomir Vračarević. From the German Karate Federation, he received an honorary black belt on the 4th DAN from the great master Wolfgang Siebel for his efforts in real aikido. After a few years, he received a black belt from Master Ljubomir Vračarević on the 5th DAN. From the Uzbek Federation, Jeet Kuna and Master Kim Mikhail received a black belt  the 6th DAN

He also won numerous recognitions on the territory of Russia, and some of them are: honorary order of special units of Russia for special merits, recognition of Russian officers, recognition of Russian war veterans in Afghanistan, recognition of Russian aviation and army, as well as honorary order of Cossack army of Baltic region.

On May 22, 2019, Igor Petrović received high recognition for his long-term work and contribution to the development of real aikido around the world from the Japanese organization that unites martial arts called “ALL JAPAN BUDO ASSOCITIATION”. From the master Hidaheru Ishii he received the title of black belt 7 DAN. After that, on May 25, 2019, at the suggestion of the Azerbaijani Federation, he received a diploma recognizing the black belt 7 DAN, which contains 9 signatures of the biggest names in the field of martial arts and sports, as well as multiple and world champions who followed Igor’s work and seminars, people from various sports mma, kickboxing, karate, karate do, kempo karate, wing chung federation, grappling and combat jiu jitsu.

On December 3, 2019, Igor Petrović founded a federation called “International Real Aikido Federation”, which currently gathers over 60 clubs around the world.
